Customary Practice and Restorative Justice in Libya: A Hybrid Approach
Neighbourhood Restorative Justice (NRJ)
Following the development of a number of Neighbourhood RJ sites (NRJ) funding was gained in order to expand the programme on a national basis, fifty sites are now fully operational with plans to incorporate and integrate the approach in the areas where we are working with Police & Crime Commissioners.
A selection of participating areas includes:
- Barlow Moor Community Association (Manchester)
- Bradford (training completed and RJ conferences being facilitated)
- Calderdale (Halifax)
- Halton (Widnes)
- North Wales Police
- Staffordshire Police
- Swindon/Wiltshire Police
- Tameside (Manchester)
Recent expressions of interest have also been received from Shropshire, Wolverhampton, Suffolk and Northants
Restorative Solutions are offering restorative justice training and learning support packages to local areas at no cost. Get in touch with us if you wish to learn more about the Neighbourhood Restorative Justice project.
