Gary Stephenson Bio

Gary is a former police officer and spent 32 years with the Lancashire Constabulary, during this time he was engaged as a practitioner and a Senior investigator in the field of organised crime, covert policing, terrorism and Intelligence. During his last three years he was a BCU Commander in the Constabulary and introduced Restorative Approaches in Policing in his BCU and the Constabulary.

For the past two years Gary has been working with Restorative Solutions a Community Interest Company which is committed to developing and progressing restorative approaches in the public sector. Gary took up the role of Chief Executive of Restorative Solutions in January this year.

Gary has a BA (hons) in public sector management and a M.Sc in Investigative Psychology.

Gary has recently been engaged in projects with Drugs Intervention Programmes, Integrated Offender Management Teams, Intensive Alternative to Custody schemes and Restorative Approaches with Priority & Prolific Offenders. He is also the Chair of the Lancashire Association of Clubs for Young People (LACYP)
Gary took up the role of Chief executive Officer of Restorative Solutions in January 2010.
