What We Do

Restorative Approaches

We provide facilitation, consultancy, project management, mentoring, training & development in Restorative Approaches.

We are one of the leading restorative justice training, facilitation and consultancy providers working in criminal justice system in England and Wales. We have been operating over a number of years providing training and technical assistance to police and probation services, youth offending teams, custodial institutions, social housing providers and schools.

So far our main focus has been working with neighbourhood policing teams, integrated offender management units and front line workers from partner agencies including drug workers, health, housing managers and youth workers working with communities to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour. We are currently working with a number of agencies and police forces throughout the UK. We have the recognition and support from ACPO (Association of Chief Police Officers), NPIA (National Policing Improvement Agency), the Home Office and the Ministry of Justice we are currently rolling out RAiN (Restorative Approaches in Neighbourhoods) across UK. Our the aim is to give victims a better service, reduce the risks of re-offending and repeat incidents, engage the community, victims and witnesses in deciding how offenders make reparation.

It has been conclusively proven that a restorative approach motivates offenders to change their behaviour and provides closure for victims and witnesses, thus increasing public confidence in policing and the criminal justice system.

The Restorative Approaches we have developed resonates with Government policy on reducing harm to communities.
