Who We Work With

We are engaged with a wide range of organisations agencies and communities who are all committed to making a difference through Restorative Approaches.

Agencies

Restorative Solutions is a Community Interest Company (CIC) committed to promoting restorative practice through facilitation, consultancy and by training others to use restorative skills.

Durham Constabulary

“Durham Constabulary is proud to be associated with Restorative Solutions. Modern day policing is all about reducing offending and changing people’s lives for the better. We are no longer (if we ever were) a law enforcement agency only. Restoration for victims and communities is at the heart of what we do.”

Salford City Council

"Salford has trained frontline staff across the city to use restorative approaches to solve a wide range of issues, e.g. in schools, Youth Offending Service with young people and victims of crime and to resolve community issues. All response police officers have now been trained in the youth restorative disposal and are in the process of training key police officers in the two day training. This strategy has brought the first time entrants into the criminal justice system down which is one of Salford's national indicators. We have achieved this with the support and training from Restorative Solutions."

Brislington Enterprise College

"We introduced a restorative approach when our more “traditional”
methods of assertive discipline were not impacting on overall student
behaviours. Our core values of trust and respect are more fully
reflected within the methodology and practice associated with a
restorative approach. The impact on student behaviour and their
wellbeing has been dramatic. Adults have also been given a different
voice that enables closure to be reached in varying situations. We are
still learning our way forward but our efforts in staff and student
training offer great hope for the future."
