What is Restorative Justice?

Restorative Justice is a process whereby parties with a stake in a specific event - e.g. offender (harmer), victim, family, witness, agencies (harmed) - come together to resolve collectively how to deal with the aftermath of the event and its implications for the future by writing up and agreeing an outcome agreement (consequences) at the conclusion of the meeting.
