Language barriers in Restorative Justice meetings
Where necessary, we use an external translator service to help victims and offenders communicate....
Despite restrictions and restraints on how we can work in recent months, we have been hugely successful with our dynamic and diverse approaches to practice, training, presenting and contributing to the world of restorative approaches. We have been active through presentations and workshops at many conferences and multi-agency training workshops outside of Restorative Solutions, including the little-explored field of Corporate Harm.
Our staff have also been seeking new and innovate ways of sharing knowledge and skills with each other nationally, across our operating regions, which have resulted in a new wealth of extended learning and additions to our existing products for service delivery and training.
Over the coming weeks we'll be sharing some of these examples with you in upcoming blogs, so stay tuned!
