Language barriers in Restorative Justice meetings
Where necessary, we use an external translator service to help victims and offenders communicate....
The Council had a requirement for an organisation to provide a number of training modules to support the introduction of restorative practice across the whole organisation.
“The training and support is delivered by specialist trainers who can demonstrate recent and on-going impact on practice across different service areas within the public sector specifically Local Authorities”.
This includes improved outcomes at the early help stage for adult support services and other front facing services delivered by teams directly to the general public.
RS are currently working with the council to implement this programme. This has been particularly challenging in the current “covid” situation. This has meant support and training has been adapted and changed as the programme has progressed. Our flexible approach to delivery of services and training has come to the fore allowing us to continue to provide first class quality services in these extenuating and difficult circumstances.
We’d love to talk to you about how we can find a solution for you.
